English-born Alice Chater is one of the most promising names not only in the United Kingdom, but also in the international pop scene. Her music brings together influences from the biggest pop divas you can think of (from Madonna to Lady Gaga or Kylie Minogue), and her career aims that high. Having seen her single "Hourglass", we can safely say she has what it takes: the song is an exhilarating mix of electronic and retro sounds (such as the sample of "Don't you want me"), and the video shows her coreographic skills are just on point. Do we have to say it is our song of the week?
