Kraftklub is a German band from Chemnitz. Their style is an interesting and unique mix of indie rock and rap. Their single "Unsere fans" is a great example of this blend. An intense rap-rock track, with a very catchy chorus.
Vlada Chuprova was born in Saint Petersburg in 1986. She is famous for taking part in the first edition of Golos, the Russian version of The Voice, in 2012, where she was eliminated in the second round of the competition. She kept developing her music career, and we are happy she did: her latest single, "Polovina", is a very interesting blend of pop which shows her awesome personality. We just fell in love with it!
TCT is a Finnish trio from Helsinki, formed by T.L, Comeetta and Tiahu. Their new single "Rammaa" is a very entertaining mix of rap/hip-hop with pop. Quite a happy song!
Revolverheld smashed the rest of the participants at this year's Bundesvision Song Contest with "Lass uns gehen". Well, it was only a matter of time before the song turned to a big hit: they are currently the #7 of the German charts!
Pitbull has been a constant presence in the charts around the world for quite some time now. His latest release, "Fireball" (in which he features John Ryan), is currently #4 in the Netherlands!
Coming from Moscow, meet Nikita, Stas, Gena, Turbo and Dyusha Metolkin: they form the group USB (or, as they prefer, United Sexy Boys). Their single "Istoriya povtoryayetsya", meaning "History repeats itself", is very entertaining. It has one of the coolest and more contagious choruses of the year.
Jennifer Davies is a Liverpudlian singer who is developing her musical career with intense steps. Her newest single is "Choke", an intense display of vocals in a powerful atmosphere of marking beats.
Sounds European! presented the Ukrainian group Lavika in the beginning of 2014, with their great single "Ya ryadom". Now, the girls are back, together with Tatiana Reshetnyak (also known as Tiana, who was born in Chernivtsi in 1984), to release "Ya ili ona". The song has some Oriental influences to the melody, specially noticeable during the chorus.
Kitty Kat, stage name of Katharina Löwel, was born in Berlin in 1982. She took part of the last edition of the Bundesvision Song Contest with the song "Hochhaus", an emotional ballad with a haunting melody and a deep chorus.
Cassandre is a French duo, formed by Pier and Flo, from the city of Saint-Étienne. They have just released their first album and, along with it, the single "Ma révolution". It's a great song, with that unique mix of epical instrumentation, almost theater-like, with regular pop which only the French music industry seems to know how to produce. We love it, and that's why it's our song of the week.
