LemON is one of our favorite names from the current Polish music scene. And their new single "Jutro" is another clear example of why we love them: their melody and instrumentals are totally involving, and the vocals are totally fitting to it, creating a unique and very pleasant blend.

Finland | Don Huonot - "Salaisuus"

BRAND NEW

Don Huonot was one of the greatest bands of the Finnish rock 'n' roll scene of the '90s. They've gathered once more for the project We Want More (a reality show which brings back bands which were successful in the past). Their new single "Salaisuus" is such a cool rock ballad! It's a perfect match of great instrumentals and soothing voice.

Sweden | Ace Wilder - "Riot"

Ace Wilder, born Alice Kristina Ingrid Gernandt, is a 32-year-old Swedish singer from Stockholm. She was the runner-up of the 2014 Melodifestivalen, the National Final of Sweden for Eurovision, with the energetic "Busy doin' nothing". Now, some months after the competition, she is back with another powerful dance pop song, "Riot".

Spain | Pablo Alborán - "Pasos de cero"

BRAND NEW

The Spanish singer Pablo Alborán is a recurring name on Sounds European!. And now he is back again, with his new song "Pasos de cero". It displays his beautiful voice, in a track which explores the best Spanish music can offer.

Denmark | Bryan Rice - "Hear me as I am"

BRAND NEW

Bryan Rice is the stage name of Brian Risberg Clausen, a Danish singer who was born in Roskilde in 1978. We love him here on Sounds European!, so we were very happy with the news of his releasing a new single: now, we can finally write a post about him! It took long, but the wait was worth. "Hear me as I am" is a great song, one of those pop tracks which slowly grows, but then explodes in an extremely catchy chorus.

Poland | Johnny Bravo feat. Darya Sergiyenko - "Ain't nobody"

BRAND NEW

International meeting on Sounds European!. From the Polish city of Olsztyn, the DJ Łukasz Karol Kalinowski, better known as Johnny Bravo, meets the Ukrainian singer Darya Sergiyenko, from the city of Lugansk. They are releasing "Ain't nobody", a very groovy electronic pop.

Armenia | Betty - "People of the Sun"

JUNIOR EUROVISION

As we did with the "adult" contest in May, Sounds European! will review the best songs competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Marsa, Malta, on November 15th.

Easily the grooviest contestant of this year's Junior Eurovision is Betty, the Armenian representant. She was born in 2003 and has become one of the most popular children in Armenian media. Her song is a blast of happiness: "People of the Sun" is extremely fun and catchy!

Malta | Federica Falzon - "Diamonds"

As we did with the "adult" contest in May, Sounds European! will review the best songs competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Marsa, Malta, on November 15th.

The little girl with the big voice. Lyric singer Federica Falzon, born in Safi in 2003 (nope, I didn't make any mistake with the date) will represent the hosting nation Malta. Among previous recordings of hers, we have Eurovision hits like "Flower of the South" and "La voix". The song she'll sing is "Diamonds", a chilling operatic pop ballad.

Slovenia | Ula Ložar - "Nisi sam (Your light)"

Ula Ložar was born in 2002 in Ljubljana. She has already had some experience in recording thene songs for cartoons, and the experience is clear in the song she'll sing in Malta: "Nisi sam (Your light)" is a very emotional and touching ballad.

Belarus | Nadezhda Misyakova - "Sokol"

As we did with the "adult" contest in May, Sounds European! will review the best songs competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Marsa, Malta, on November 15th.

Nadezhda Misyakova was born in Minsk in 2000. She has been part of the Zaranak ensemble at the National Centre for Musical Arts in Minsk, as well as taken part twice of the Belarusian selection for the Junior Eurovision before. The song she'll sing in Malta will be "Sokol", a beautiful ethnic pop track.
