Russia | Alsou - "Razlyubit' ne v silakh"

Born in Bugulma in 1983, Alsou Ralifovna Abramova is one of the biggest and most respected names of the current Russian music scene. She firstly appeared to Europe when she finished the 2000 Eurovision Song Contest as the runner-up. She has now released a new single, which is a very beautiful ballad pop.

Rasmus Walter-Hansen is a Danish singer who was born in Aarhus in 1978. "Verden i stå", his latest single, is a very enjoyable song. Its beats and melody are very involving, and his singing is a perfect wrapping for the track.

Norway | Frida Amundsen - "Told you so"

Frida Amundsen is a Norwegian singer who was born in Vaksdal. Her debut single "Closer" was a hit not only in Norway, but also in all the Nordic region and countries such as Italy, Germany and Spain. She has just released "Told you so", a soothing and involving pop track. Very enjoyable!

Osvaldo Supino describes himself as unconventional, and we quite agree with that. He is an Italian singer born in Torremaggiore who plays a kind of pop that is unique for Italian standards – and in English! His latest single is "Stop the rain", a calm yet quite catchy pop ballad. The staff of Sounds European! liked this song so much that they chose it to be our song of the week!

France | Louane - "Avenir"

Louane Emera is a French singer from the city of Lille. Her single "Avenir" is a very enjoyable song. Her beautiful voice fills a very unique and well-marked melody, which explodes in an exciting chorus.

Sweden | Tove Styrke - "Borderline"

In 2014, the Swedish singer Tove Styrke gifted us one of the greatest songs of the year – in quality and in name size, since "Even if I'm loud it doesn't mean I'm talking to you" is a quite huge title for a track. She is now back with a single with a much simpler name: "Borderline" is a sexy track with very well-marked beats.

United Kingdom | James Bay - "If you ever want to be in love"

James Bay is a British singer, songwriter and guitarist who was born in Hitchin (and has been shown here on SE! last November, with "Hold back the river"). After releasing three well-received EPs, he's preparing his first album, "Chaos and the calm". From the album, we can already listen to "If you ever want to be in love", a very nicely paced rock track. James's voice is great, and fits the song perfectly.
