American pop star Demi Lovato's music reaches places in the most different points of the world. This week, her single "Cool for the summer" is, indeed, cool for the summer in Bulgaria, where it's #7 in the national charts.

Germany | KENAY - "Nur einmal"

KENAY is a German singer from Hamburg. He has been into the music industry for quite some time, and is now soon to release his first album, "Rot & blau". His latest release is "Nur einmal", a mind-blowing mixture of pop and rock which displays Kenay's wonderful voice.

Belarus | Ivan - "Krest i ladon'"

Ivan is the stage name of Alexander (also written Aleksandr) Ivanov, Belarusian singer who was born in Gomel in 1994. He has just released a new single, entitled "Krest i ladon'". What a strong song it is! Rock 'n' roll at its best form, with a great vocal performance.

United Kingdom | Lucy Rose - "Till the end"

British singer Lucy Rose keeps dazzling us. This time, it's with her newest single, "Till the end", that she makes it to Sounds European!. The song is a lovely and very mellow pop song, which flows gently to a nice and more movemented chorus.

Ukraine | Sofia Kutsenko - "Pod solntsem"

Sounds European! loves getting to know new young talents. And Sofia Kutsenko (who was part of the group Sympho-Nick for the 2014 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, but is now working solo) is one more sample of it. Sofia was born in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv in 2002. And, despite being so young, her new single "Pod solntsem" is so mature! It's a very fun uptempo pop, with a growing melody which explodes in a party chorus which is totally contagious.

Sweden | Jakob Karlberg - "Fel på dig"

Jakob Karlberg is the man behind one of the Swedish hits of this summer, "Fan va bra", and he is now releasing another amazing song. "Fel på dig" is an infectious pop as only the Swedes can bring us!

Spain | Edurne - "Basta"

BRAND NEW

Edurne's "Amanecer" was one of the most underrated results of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. But, even with the disappointing and unfair feedback from Europe, she hasn't given up on making great music. And "Basta" is a huge proof of this: it's another excellent track of hers! The single has one of the catchiest choruses of the year. And Edurne's vocal performance is as great as the song demands. We are in love, and it's obviously our song of the week.

Poland | Lanberry - "Podpalimy swiat"

Lanberry is a Polish singer hailing from Warsaw. Her music is superbly unique: a touch of pop, a touch of electronica, a powerful voice and a great amount of charisma is what we can find in "Podpalimy swiat", a song to truly captivate you with just one listen!

Not long ago, Sounds European! presented the German singer Namika, with her debut single "Lieblingsmensch". It became a huge hit in Germany and neighboring countries – which points to a new rising star being born in the region. With her second single "Hellwach", she took part of this year's Bundesvision Song Contest. Namika didn't win the festival (she ended as seventh), but she was surely one of our overall favorites (if not the biggest one!).
