More Canada for The Charts Day of this Monday. After the smashing "Can't feel my face", The Weeknd managed to sneak another hit into the European charts: "The hills" became this week's #4 in Ireland!
Canadian singer Shawn Mendes (who we could talk about thanks to his collaboration with Norwegian singer Astrid S in "Air") is having a great chain of hits in Europe. His single "Stitches" is climbing the charts in the old continent, reaching the highest peak at #2 in both Norway and Sweden!
Elena Temnikova is becoming one of the brightest names in Russian pop. For her latest release, she teamed up with Natan, a singer born in Kazan and developing his career in Moscow. The song, "Naverno", is a perfect example of why Russian pop can get so addictive!
The Slovene duo Maraaya has just released a new single. And, obviously, we are in love with it. It is a great dance song, which reaches another level with Marjetka's voice – absolutely perfect, as we are happily getting used to.
Olly Murs is a sign of quality. The British singer has not long ago released the official video for his newest single, "Kiss me". The song is a quite funky track, including some exotic sounds and a very nice beat.
Time to listen to the new release by the French pop star Shy'm. "Tandem" is a sexy and groovy pop with the usual unique touch only Shy'm can add to a song. Its chorus is specially addictive.
And finally, it's time for a new single by the Danish star Bryan Rice. His chosen song is "Parachute". And we couldn't be happier with his choice: in our opinion, it is the best song in his album "Hear me as I am". It's powerful, intense, involving and its chorus is simply great. It's a masterpiece, it's our song of the week.
Italian ballads are beautiful by default, but when you mingle two huge talents in one song like that, the combination makes it memorable. That's what happens with the meeting of Marco Rotelli, from Milan, and Deborah Iurato: "Fermeremo il tempo" is a beautiful classic ballad, which goes in crescendo in terms of both instrumentation and gorgeousness!
We are fully sure: the Russian diva Polina Gagarina doesn't have any idea of how to make a bad song. Every new single of hers is a gift to our ears. And so is her newest release "Ya ne budu". It has a catchy melody, involving vibe and one of the best choruses of the year. Lovely result!
Benjamin Ingrosso was born in 1997 in the sorroundings of Stockholm, Sweden. The guy comes from a musical family, being the son of Pernilla Wahlgren and the cousin of Sebastian Ingrosso, and yep, he's as good as he sounds. "Fall in love", his most recent single, is a beautiful piece of pop with an intense classical instrumentation.
