France | Tom Leeb - "The best in me"

France has presented their entry for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. It's "The best in me", by Tom Leeb. The song, also signed by Eurovision veterans Amir (France 2016), John Lundvik (Sweden 2019 and United Kingdom 2019), Peter Boström (four previous Eurovision entries, including Sweden 2012) and Thomas G:son (14 previous entries, including Spain 2012 and the aforementioned Sweden 2012), is a very sweet ballad.

British star Sam Smith has just released a wonderful new single. It's "To die for", a strong ballad which explores Sam's voice in a great manner. Its melody is very captivating, both in the verses and chorus.

It's finally time to remeet Serbian singer Cvija. He has just released a new single, entitled "O mama". It's an enticing song with an inviting melody and a very fresh chorus.

Ukraine | Go_A - "Solovey"

Go_A is a Ukrainian electro-folk band from Kiev, formed by Kateryna Pavlenko, Ihor Didenchuk, Taras Shevchenko and Ivan Hryhoriak. They are going to represent their country on Eurovision with "Solovey". It's a very strong folk song with imposing melody and ambience. We love it!

Slovenia | Ben Dolic - "Violent thing"

Ben Dolic is the stage name of Benjamin Dolić, a Slovene singer who was born in Ljubljana in 1997. Ben is developing his career in Germany, where he took part of the eighth season of The Voice, and finished as the runner-up. He was chosen to represent Germany on the 2020 Eurovision with "Violent thing". It's an exciting and very catchy pop song, with a great hook.

Italy | Tiziano Ferro - "Amici per errore"

Sounds European! remeets Italian star Tiziano Ferro, who has just released a new single. And it's a wonderful one! "Amici per errore" is an emotional ballad that delivers the best of Tiziano's music.

Sweden | Malou Prytz - "Ballerina"

Malou Trasthe Prytz is a Swedish singer who was born in Ryd in 2003. The young Swedish talent has blown us away with her second Melodifestivalen try (she was a finalist in 2019 with "I do me"). "Ballerina" didn't manage to qualify to the finals, but it was surely one of our favorite songs in the competition. It's pop at its best!

Spain | Gema Tomás - "Basta de excusas"

Gema Tomás is a Spanish singer who was born in San Vicente del Raspeig in 1989. She rose to prominence after taking part of season three of her country's The X Factor, reaching the semifinals. Gema has just released a single, entitled "Basta de excusas". It's a very strong and intense power ballad with an extremely marking chorus. Her voice shines through the entire track. We love everything about it: it's our song of the week!

Finland | Ida Paul feat. Kalle Lindroth - "Päiväuni"

Ida Paul and Kalle Lindroth have released several great singles along the way. But we feel they've reached their best (so far!) with their latest single. "Päiväuni" is an outstanding track!
