Francesco Gabbani is an Italian singer who was born in Carrara in 1982. His career kicked off last year, after winning the Nuove Proposte section of Festival di Sanremo with the song "Amen". Now, Gabbani went one step further: he won the main category with "Occidentali's karma", a fresh and uplifting beat set into a fantastic pop song. The title granted him a spot on this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Will he be able to win the continental competition as well?
