The end-of-the-year period is filled with traditions, and we also have our own. It's time to review some of the coolest artists and tracks which we listened throughout the year. In 2017, Sounds European! has presented more than 1600 songs. And, among them, we now list – until December 31st – the 50 ones which we consider to be the best of this period.

Our song of the week comes from Spain, but not only. Alejandro Sanz invited several huge stars of Latin music for + Es +, a project whose objective is to help fighting against child malnutrition in Africa. The result of this gathering is a wonderful rendition for Sanz's hit "Y, ¿si fuera ella?", featuring Pablo Alborán, David Bisbal, Antonio Carmona, Manuel Carrasco, Jesse & Joy, Juanes, Pablo López, Malú, Vanesa Martín, India Martinez, Antonio Orozco, Niña Pastori, Laura Pausini, Abel Pintos, Rozalén, Shakira and Tommy Torres. We are absolutely in love with it!

Funambulista are a Spanish band from Murcia, led by Diego Cantero. They have gathered with compatriot Antonio Orozco to release "Quiero que vuelvas". And it's an excellent song! Its melody is highly exciting and energetic, and the voices work very well together. Plus, the chorus is extremely catchy and entertaining! We are in love with it: it's our song of the week.
