As is our tradition every end of December, it is time to review the best songs of the year. During this period, Sounds European! has featured over 1300 songs. And now, we are presenting, until December 31st, our list of the 50 best European songs of 2021.

Meduza are an Italian production trio from Milan, consisting of Luca de Gregorio, Mattia Vitale and Simone Giani. They have gathered with Irish star Hozier to release "Tell it to my heart". It's electropop at its best! It's catchy and deep, and it explores Hozier's voice in amazing ways. The chorus keeps on giving, and it has us fully addicted. It's our song of the week!

The end of 2014 is approaching. And, as it happened on the last days of 2013, it's time for our review of the best we've listened throughout the year. Sounds European! looked back on the songs which were published here during this period – more than 1200 – and selected the 50 best ones (in the editors' opinions). Until December 31st, this top 50 will remember some of the coolest artists and tracks which were presented during the year.

Hozier was elected by our editors the #1 song of 2013 in Sounds European!. Now, he is back, with another epic song. "From Eden" has the same grandiose atmosphere of "Take me to church", but with a slightly different approach. Once more, a great track!

2013 IN 40 SONGS

2013 is almost ending. It's time to celebrate and remember the good things this year has brought. Sounds European! looked back on the songs which were presented here during this period – almost 700 – and selected the 40 best ones (in the editors' opinions). Until December 31st, this top 40 will review some of the coolest artists and tracks which were seen here during the year.

Our first place is a song which touched us deeply. The lyrics are great; the voice, too, and the clip makes it all even deeper. It has the full package, and it totally deserves the honor of being Sounds European!'s first song of the year.
