2017 IN 50 SONGS

The end-of-the-year period is filled with traditions, and we also have our own. It's time to review some of the coolest artists and tracks which we listened throughout the year. In 2017, Sounds European! has presented more than 1600 songs. And, among them, we now list – until December 31st – the 50 ones which we consider to be the best of this period.

Oonagh is the stage name of Senta-Sofia Delliponti, German singer and songwriter who was born in Wolfsburg in 1990. Her music is inspired by mystic literature and ethnic sounds, creating a unique and haunting kind of ethno-pop. She has gathered with Danish ensemble Safri Duo to release "Zeit der sommernächte". Don't try to resist: it's as fun and catchy as a song can be!

Danish trio spreading power all around! Famous DJ and producer Kato teamed up with also popular electronic percussion twosome Safri Duo and rising talent Bjørnskov (who you may remember from "Vi er helte") in "Dimitto (Let go)", an uplifting track which will pump your heart into the dance floor!
