Stefán Hilmarsson is an Icelandic musician born in Reykjavík in 1966. He has been working with music since 1986, releasing several studio albums, both solo and as part of other projects (such as Sálin hans Jóns míns and Pláhnetunn). And he has even represented his country on the Eurovision Song Contest six times – twice as a lead singer, twice as a backing vocalist and twice as a composer. We have recently came upon his single "Dagur nýr", a beautiful song that captivates the essence of '90s ballads in a unique way.
