Norway | Agnete - "Icebreaker"

Agnete Kristin Johnsen is a Norwegian singer who was born in Nesseby in 1994. She is a former member of the band The BlackSheeps – winners of the 2008 MGP Nordic and runners-up of the 2011 Norwegian National Final for Eurovision. Agnete, now on solo career, has just gotten her revenge on Melodi Grand Prix (the NF of Norway), winning this year's selection with "Icebreaker". It's a masterpiece song, with an excellent chorus. We love it: it's our song of the week!

Cyprus | Minus One - "Alter ego"

It's time to get to know one more entry of this year's Eurovision Song Contest. Cyprus has internally chosen band Minus One, from Nicosia, and their "Alter ego". The song is also signed by Thomas G:son – who composed, in the past years, entries for Denmark, Georgia, Norway, Spain and Sweden (including the hit "Euphoria"). It is a great rock track, which has the qualities to allow Cyprus to dream of going to the final for the second year in a row.
