Apocalyptica is a band that needs no introduction. They are one of the biggest exports from Finland, having travelled the world with their blend of symphonic and rock sounds and worked with an endless list of huge names within the music industry. They are preparing their comeback album, "Cell-0", and to start promoting it they have released "Ashes of the modern world", a true gem of instrumental sounds.

Tonight, Seville is hosting the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards (making it the fourth time, second consecutive, that Spain hosts the event). And as it's becoming a tradition, Sounds European! takes the opportunity to remember all the nominees who have been presented on our site throughout the past year. Our song of the week comes from North Macedonia! Meet Mila Moskov, a 14-year-old from the city of Prilep, who will represent her country at this year's Junior Eurovision with the song "Fire". The track is an emotional ballad with an incredible strength and a powerful interpretation!
Martin Harich is a Slovak singer who was born in Liptovský Mikuláš in 1995. He has just released "Serious trouble", and it's such a fun pop song! The chorus is specially marking: it sticks to the head as quickly as one can.
Another new single by Die Toten Hosen! The German band now offers "Feiern im regen", a rock track that is aided by some interesting folk elements to convey a really unique track!
Among all the songs recently released by Finnish star Ellinoora, "Antibiisi" is likely our favorite one. It's an intense and sharp pop song, with a hypnotic ambience that grows in the bridge and flows into a highly addictive chorus.
Spanish singer India Martínez returns with the second single to emerge from her upcoming new album, which will be entitled "Palmeras". The track's title is "Conmigo", and it mixes India's emotional and typically Spanish styles with a Latin melody that fits the whole atmosphere very well!
Samir & Viktor have just released a new single. And you know what it means: it's time to party! "Kemi" is a summer-vibe pop song with an easy listening melody and a marking chorus.
