We're finally hearing from Lena again! One of the most epic Eurovision winners of all times, she is currently releasing her new album "Crystal sky" and is gracing us with a gorgeous single. "Traffic lights" meets the lovely charisma of Lena with electronic pop. We got so addicted to it that it was obvious it would become our song of the week!
We now travel to Finland, where we meet Hätä-Miikka. He is working on his first solo album, and it's time to check "Kuuntele". It's a cool single with a very well marked and kind of speedy melody. Quite an interesting track.
Alexa Feser was firstly introduced to the readers of Sounds European! the past October, with "Wir sind hier". She went on to participate on the German National Final for this year's Eurovision Song Contest. She didn't manage to win the selective (even though who won isn't really going to Vienna), but "Glück" has called our attention. It's a great pop song with a very interesting mood.
Jannike is a Finnish singer hailing from Helsinki. After taking part of the Finnish version of Idols in 2008, she worked as a backing vocalist for several artists, and now she is launching a new single. "Into the Sun" is a fresh breath of pop: soft and tender, it melts into a lovely chorus, and ends up catching you on tenterhooks!
Andrés Suárez is a Spanish singer who was born in 1983 in Ferrol. He has just released a new single, named "Te doy media noche". It's a sweet ballad which is taken perfectly by his smooth and beautiful voice.
Leona Lewis has become one of those artists that need no introduction. Her chilling voice and her classy rhythms have seen the light once more in her brand new single. "Fire under my feet" is the meeting of soul and R&B, portraying a very movemented melody and Leona's outstanding vocals.

Noonie Bao is a Swedish singer from Stockholm. Her single "I'm in love" is extremely cool. It has an alternative mood in it, but keeping some mainstream touches. The vocal work is unique and very well adapted to the song's proposal.

Edurne is a multifacetic artist who was born in Madrid in 1985. She is a quite popular name within the Spanish scene, having released five albums up to date. But this year, we are very happy with the country's choice for the festival: "Há um mar que nos separa", by Ella Nor (Leonor Andrade, born in Quinta do Anjo in 1994), delivers everything we expect from Portuguese music. Voltaj is a Romanian band which was formed in Bucharest in 1982. They are one of the most famous and traditional bands from the country. Now, they'll represent it on Eurovision, with "De la capăt (All over again)". It is a touching song with very well developed instrumentals, convincing vocals and a great message behind. The rare use of the Romanian language is another detail to praise – it is only the third time Romania has an entry with it since 2000.

The Makemakes are an Austrian rock band which was founded in 2012 in Vöcklabruck. Natasha Kors was featured on Sounds European! when she released the fantastic "Detka", and she returns to slay with a fantastic pop song. "Pesok" is powerful, flows gently in the verses and explodes in the chorus. Exactly as we like!
Vitaa is the stage name of Charlotte Gonin, a French soul singer who was born in Mulhouse in 1983. She has just released a new single, named "Vivre". It's a very contagious uptempo pop, with a dance feeling which is quite rare to find in French music. Very cool one!
Cecilia is an Italian harpist and singer born in 1989. She jumps in the wave of Italian people singing in English with "Mornings like this", an infectious pop single which will put you on your feet and dancing right away!
Florence + The Machine are a British indie pop and rock band formed in London, led by the extremely talented singer Florence Welch. They are working on their third studio album, named "How big, how blue, how beautiful". From it, we have the new single "Ship to wreck". It is a masterpiece song, with amazing melody and, of course, all the vocal quality of Florence. We couldn't resist: it's our song of the week.
Ani Lorak is, without a doubt, one of the biggest divas of Ukraine. Every single of hers leaves us with our jaws dropped to the floor, and "Korabli", her most recent song, is no exception. It is a pop ballad with a very marking chorus and a great beat, and shows that Ani still knows how to give us what we like!
Last November, Sounds European! introduced the Czech duo Slza. Their "Lhůta záruční" was absolutely amazing, and so is their new single "Celibat". They show they're masters of great melody with this one: it's very addictive!
